Plot and Scheme / Re: Plot With Tyri

From that clutch, I have Vassatiere. She's sorta uppity, and her Red is a bit of a turd 8D So having them work together on some lesson might be an entertaining trash fire.

Beyond that, I have a lot of people just out and about in the weyr. Loressa is my dragon healer, so they might know one another? S'ric is my 'go to' bad guy, if someone needs a bad guy in their life. His dragon is a an aggressive monster. Lemme know whatcha think. <3

Dis new year...

Another year in SWW and it didn't exactly start off how I wanted, but life is slowing down after the holidays and I'm available to start creating threads should anyone be floating around to do so. There is also a chance I have missed a reply, but I'm going to be workin' through my Tracker just to make sure in the next day or so.

I'm also gonna be updating my character apps, but that's gonna take a bit of time.

Either way, all of my characters are up for threads. ^_^ So we can kick off writing.

OOC Hang Out / Re: Cbox in the New Year
« on: January 03, 2019, 05:55:52 PM »
The simple cbox is $2 a month, which is easily doable. The premium one we had before was $9. Which we didn't mind paying when we were all spamming it. Since the popular move to discord largely, it doesn't make much sense to continue doing but I hear whatcha mean about just wanting to poke around.

In order to down grade the cbox we had, we need to renew it at the premium price for whatever reason so it'll be a week or so before Alan and I have the extra cash to do that, then I'll get the simple box set up. We have domain registration and RL bothering us first. 8D

OOC Hang Out / OOC Cbox in the New Year
« on: January 02, 2019, 10:10:04 AM »

So over the course of the holidays, the cbox sub expired and I just replaced it with the discord widget on the sidebar. Discord seems to be the general thing most places are doing now-a-days anyway, and it's easier to keep track of when I'm not sitting on the webpage, or when I'm out and about trying to be an adult.

That being said, rather than just ripping the carpet out from under everyone, I did want to know what you gais would prefer. Just discord? Maybe a simple cbox instead of the fancy one we had before? I really hesitant to go back to the one we had before given how much it was and the like, when there is a cheaper, and easier, alternative, but I'm not against having the standard cbox up if that's something everyone prefers.

I'm good with just about anything, though. 8D I usually sit in discord even when I'm not on the site, so that's the easiest thing for me.  :bird: Lemme know, eh?

So I like cooking shows ( and I think there's a couple of us here that do too ) so I wanted to recommend The Final Table on Netflix. I've been watching a lot of the Great British Baking Show, so there's a big change cause DRAMATIC MUSIC and COMPETITION but, it's neat to see a lot of people cookin' some amazing food.

It always makes me hungry.

I'm glad to hear that your exams went well and that you're able to catch up on the sleeps. I do miss getting to chat at you and rayne on discord so much, but I understand that everyone has gotta do what they gotta do.

We figured December was gonna be a bit of a thing for people to, family and holidays considering. ^_^

Look forward to writing with you.

Piggybacking on the updated applications - but I didn't want to create its own announcement - we've put the long character lists in the profile on the side of each post in a clickable button. Not a hover :P This should clean up all the giant white spaces in posts for people who have monster character lists but still make them easy to reference and see who has what within a click. <3 To close the list, just click anywhere off the list.

We could also just do a couple of events sporadic. One every couple of weeks, leading up until after christmas, and not have as many for the next couple of IC months to move the time line along.

Ultimately, though, I'm good for whatever. ( I voted other. )

Once I had finished, NaNo linked me to 4theWords. I thought it was a sorta neat premise to encourage people to write, if they need a little extra motivation.

There's a 30 day free trial and then it's like $4 a month or something. Anyways, just thought I'd toss it here. I think Imma poke at it for the next 30 days and see how it goes. Hopefully it'll be something that'll encourage me to keep writing now that I've finished NaNo.

Beach House by The Chainsmokers

This is a lovely song that makes me think of X'hos and Meyelthra :3

Woke up on the West side
Listening to Beach House, taking my time
She's just my type
Dark hair wavin' out the passenger side
Then I start to think
As she pulls me on the bathroom floor
This is my type of thing
Yeah, yeah

Oh, darling of mine, where have you been?
I feel so alive with you in my bed
Oh, darling of mine, please don't let go
Just tell me you feel this, tell me you know
Oh, darling of mine

And then I start to think as I lift her on the sink
That I've been here before
It's a certain type of thing, she gets bored of everything
Not the type you can ignore
Yeah, I just wanna taste as she grabs me by the waist
As she closes the door
She's taking what she wants, baby, you can have it all

It's already started, but I wanted to give a heads up ( and shout out ) to those that were going to participate. I'm going to try to remain caught up and still post, but I'm going to try and complete this year too. Try to make it a two year streak. 8D

Here be my profile on the site if you'd want to add me as a writing buddy. Good luck to those also writing and to those that are busy with life. :3

Life can be a pain sometimes. I hope everything works out for you and though you busy it doesn't seem to be a terrible busy, just a work busy. Take care of yourself until you get to return to us.

:excited: I love the haunting of hill house. They're doing so many things right. I've actually had to pause it a couple of times, or hide behind my hands, because I just... know.... it's gonna be bad. Or I jump and freak out. XD

OOC Hang Out / OOC NaNoWriMo Prep

It's still the middle of October, but that also had me thinking- it's the middle of October. I already have an idea of what I'm going to do, but I was wondering who else was going to participate. :3 If you had prep to do, or if you're just going to wing it.

As before, I'm happy to set up a pacemaker for those of us who want to do this together. <3

Also, I really thought that this was a neat offer from Tapas ( It's a place I sometimes read things from ).

Tis the season for horror movies and I've been on a kick.

I absolutely loved this movie. Loved it. It is definitely not the normal horror movie since it's set in the colonial, very religious times and it preys more on those fears than, say, slasher movies. But it does so very well. Also. The ending, man. The ending.

I should preface this with I love almost all the saw movies. They're definitely twisted, certainly gory, and I like them for that. This movie is no different. I also felt like this movie was a call back to the original movie ( hence the name? ) and I really like it for that. There was about... 5 mins toward the end I didn't like... but beyond that, it was a nice, solid horror movie.

There's a couple things about this one. The name is sorta stupid, it's by IFC Films which, when you've seen as many horror movies as I have, is usually an indication you're in for... well, a "movie". It's a pretty cliche set up - goth kid is goth. (( She's wearing a H.I.M. shirt in one shot. I enjoyed that >_> )) And a lot of it comes across as.. whiny? Not really horror-movie esque. But it ramps up and some of the creepy parts are legit creepy.

Also, I really enjoy how it ended. Definitely a good movie just for that.

and Fourth

I digged this one. It did some neat stuff, had some of those creepy "oh look, weird shit is happening in the background" moments. Love the atmosphere of the movie and the scares are good.

Next up? Netflix has The Haunting of Hill House >:3

Pretty self explanatory. Just a silly thread of... well. Yeah. 8D Share!

Long, long time ago, I was going to join a starwars RP. It was new and fancy and shiny, and I wanted a new and fancy name that wasn't associated to, say, my fantasy rp stuff. I also wanted a name I could use that wouldn't pop up with the whole "that name is taken" other places. I messed around with a lot of opposite-ish names, cause I liked the idea of it. Eventually, through thesaurus-ing and creativity, I came upon SanctifiedSavage. I loved it so much, I've been using it for the better part of.... err.... years. 5+

I used to go by Countess, and a couple of other names, because I thought they were  pretty or neat. Just something I liked. However >_> In a lot of places, most were taken or too fantasy-ish that people couldn't figure out how to say them or relate to them. Hence me wanting something that would be uniquely mine and... easy to recognize.
