I'm no busier now than I am over summer - I don't have any children and work year round - so I'll reply when anything gets posted.

Hmmmmmm, I'll throw Z'nel and Karowen in for now.
J'ken might join them if I get a muse for him.
Kyrrin wouldn't be at the beach no matter what you paid her.
Will have to go round and double check my dates and places for my younger characters.

I'll go with this. I do usually play more support type characters.

Mine originally came from star wars cosplay, I needed an alien name and came up with Jara'kri'safis. But most online things don't allow the apostrophes so that got shortened to Jara or Jarak which tends to be how I go by online.
Or using the centre of the name you get Kris, which due to a misunderstanding in university I got introduced as, so there are now very few people that know me by my legal name (which I'm not unhappy abut because I hate it but don't have the spare cash to change it).

T'kos is all done and ready to go. I've got nothing concrete thought of right now but I'd love to thread if you have any ideas or wants for T'rel and T'vye.

Purpose of this Thread
We all know that being a weyrling can be a complicated endeavor. There's a plethora of things to remember -- dragon growth charts, development timelines, important dates... and that's not even including who else is in your class. As new clutches are hatched and Impressed to Candidates, a thread will be created for each class to serve as a centralized location for all the information you'll need to know. As the dragonets and their riders grow, relevant announcements and class threads will be posted here as well.

Graduation Protocol
It's no secret that the default post-graduation Wing for most weyrlings is Prairie -- though of course, your characters are welcome to apply for a transfer with another Wingleader after they've graduated. But while it's less common for Beach and Jungle to accept recent weyrlings, it does happen. Because of their more stringent IC requirements, and to make sure each weyrling considered is a good fit for such a Wing, we will only be allowing weyrlings with 20 posts or more to be considered for Beach or Jungle. As per previously established canon, Mountain does not take freshly graduated weyrlings.

Please understand that this is not a punishment or a requirement -- simply that only characters who fit these guidelines will be considered for these Wings immediately upon graduation. Your weyrling can always request a transfer from another Wing if their dream lies outside of Prairie. Final tallying for such post counts will end the day before their graduation ceremony will take place -- on 37.10 -- in the interest of fairness. All weyrlings, regardless of post count, will be sorted into Prairie unless they meet the 20 post threshold and other considerations like personality fit and any extracurricular training it may be mentioned that they have done.

We'd also like to get a feel for what Wings your characters might be aspiring to! So as their graduation approaches, we'd like you to fill out the following form and PM it to Southern Records for us. Please let us know if you have any questions or comments!

Spoiler for Placement Form:
Code: [Select]
Character Name: Weyrling of Dragonth
Wing: What Wing you have in mind for your character - please specify if you have OOC intentions for them that differ from their IC goals.
Reasoning: Let us know a bit of detail about why you think your character would be a good fit for the Wings you're asking us to consider!

He'd probably go seek her out - but that would be once the weyrlings are all settled - so she'd probably have heard by then. So anything running from that is good for me, I don't mind who does the finding :D

Blue Riders / Re: J'ken (Jesseken) [2554 9th Pass /Assistant Weyrlingmaster]
« on: September 11, 2018, 04:44:24 AM »

Major Events:

2591 - J'ken accepts the position of Assistant Weyrlingmaster. He's still not entirely sure how a conversation one evening with D'zel turned into him taking a 2-3 turn break from his beloved mountain wing. He suspects the drink contributed, but the main blame is clearly Tadriath's. He's been hinting for weeks that this would be a good thing to do and no matter how much J'ken ignored it, he didn't seem to forget.

Tadriath is smug, although he does try to hide that. His rider had enjoyed speaking to a weyrling and if his rider wasn't going to admit that he missed having younger siblings around, he would do something about it for him. A word to the right dragons and J'ken didn't stand a chance at saying no. He's rather pleased with himself and intends to enjoy the break from mapping a dead world.

Bring me all the weyrlings and I will be happy!
Z'nel will meet anyone at all and I'd love to get her more friends.
J'ken might be a little grumpy about that - but lateness is not the same as not turning up at all. It's the ones that make excuses to not arrive at all that reeeeeally annoy him.

(And yes I am :P I was debating taking him on myself but then T'veck won the Queen flight and well, no fun posting to myself. )

Belated plotter stalking.

I've got a healer Karowen that wants plot and friends and stuff and things. She's not too bad with humans, but she does prefer working on the dragons - they don't complain as much.

For riders I have a Friendly Mountain rider J'ken who makes friends with anyone and can often be found lounging around being social when he's not off doing wing duties.

I've got a beach rider Z'nel who I'm on the lookout for friends and potential romance for. Just be aware she comes with a protective older brother :P

I've also got the weyrlingmaster D'zel so if you make any weyrlings he'll be around to plot and scheme with.

My weyrling T'veck has just become weyrsecond after his dragon flew Imyth - at the moment he's mainly focusing on getting double duties done - but if you want to go nuts and be crazy - adopt the current Weyrleader S'bok so they can be black rider bros :bird:

Friend here? Z'nel is on the hunt for friends too. Being same wing I'd presume they know each other so if you want to have them closer friends than just wingmates?

D'zel and Z'nel will be going.
J'ken is out on assignment or sleeping in or something because with my luck I cant avoid talking to myself with too many in there :P
What does T'veck class as, Weyrsecond or Weyrling for an event such as this?

Bet to follow when I've had a good think about it.

Sooooooo, hatchings approaching. More little red and black menaces more than likely. Was wondering if O'sir might like to get together with D'zel and see if they can think of any ways to potentially lesson the panic flailing that the reds seem to cause with their enthusiasm.
